An Arita porcelain tea set by Genemon Kiln, defined by the blue-and-white “Octopus Arabesque” motif. The pattern moves in a continuous, rhythmic line across each piece—precise, balanced, quietly expressive.
The set includes a teapot, water cooler, tea cups, and saucers, for gyokuro tea preparation. Each element supports a slower pace of tea.
Genemon Kiln is based in Arita, Japan, the birthplace of Japanese porcelain since the 17th century. The kiln carries a long tradition of sometsuke—underglaze cobalt painting—known for its clarity and control. The Octopus Arabesque (Takokarakusa) is a traditional motif in Japanese ceramics, characterized by continuous, flowing lines. Crafted for daily use, the set is functional and durable.
Cups also work well for sake.
